We are busy, very busy this time of the year in the Philadelphia junk removal business. We have trucks covering all sections of Phiadelphia and the four surrounding counties (Bucks, Montgomery, Chester & Delaware counties) and are kept very busy in the fall. Whether we are doing house cleanouts, basement cleanouts, estate cleanouts or simple furniture removals our Philly Junk removal truck teams are kept on the road. If your loooking to get rid of some junk and need it hauled away give PhillyJunk a call. We are normally available within 24 hours. During the football season we do not work Sunday afternoons if we can help it though. Aside from that we work almost 24/7 all the other days. We are very large in commercial office building cleanouts so those crews work a lot of odd hours especially in center city Philly. We remove trailer after trailer of old […]
Our junk disposal crews worked on removing wood sheds every day last week. Several were the normal size of 8′ x 10′ or so however we had a few that were 10′ x 18′ and 12′ x 20′ which makes for very large wood sheds. Those larger wooden sheds have tall ceilings and often time include a second level of storage space. You need to know what you’re doing and have the right set of tools to take down these wooden sheds. Several of them were located near other structures so the shed removal process is tricky. We were removing sheds in Levittown, Bryn Mawr, Huntingdon Valley, Horsham, Doylestown, West Chester, Narberth, Sellersville, Paoli and a few other locations if I recall. Also during the week it must have been hot tub removal week as we did a number of hot tub removals. Once again several of these hot tubs […]
Our very own Brandon Badey will be honored tonight at the Philadelphia Phillies game and pictured on TV for outstanding service as a Philadelphia Police Officer. Brandon is one of six or seven police officers we employ. All of the others (police officer graduates) have recently completed their training and graduated from the police academy and are looking to sign on in one of the towns surrounding the Philadelphia Metro area. We’re proud of our crew (five guys and one girl) of recent police graduates for their dedication and hard work to complete their training and pursue law enforcement as a profession. Next time one of our junk removal guys comes knocking to do their junk disposal jobs just remember they are very likely a cop! We are also proud of the rest of our PhillyJunk.com team which includes a Philly sports editor, music critic, retail store manager and frankly […]
A closed art gallery made for some interesting stuff being removed from a three story commercial building we just cleaned out. We attracted many of the surrounding neighbors as our junk removal teams worked on a three story mixed use commercial and residential property on South Street in Philadelphia, Pa. We removed the contents of the whole building which included two floors of apartments and the first floor and basement were part of the former art gallery. We rotated three trucks for most of the day as parking was a premium in front of the building. Finally after six hours of steady work the building was declared empty. The neighbors now have a lot of original art and furnishings from the apartments. PhillyJunk cleans out a lot of commercial properties but this was our first art gallery which still had some original art left inside. We were happy to […]
We closed out our summer doing nice sized junk disposal jobs in Lansdale, Pa. and Narberth, Pa. One was a complete house cleanout including a two car detached garage that was pretty full and the other was two large storage units that our customer had for years and finally decided enough was enough and had us clean the storage lockers out completely. Both jobs closed out this past weekend along with a bunch of other regular projects, inclduing basement cleanouts in Philadelphia and various sofa and love seat removals around the areas. Give PhillyJunk a call if your looking to get rid of your old junk. Our truck teams are available seven days a week.
