Hotel Emptied & Office Building Scheduled

By |2018-03-27T12:34:13-07:00November 24th, 2012|PhillyJunk news|

Another hotel was emptied last week and a 25,000 square foot office building next up for our commercial service group. The contents of the hotel (desks, sofa beds, chairs, bed frames, etc.) were delivered to a kid’s camp in the Poconos via tractor trailers. All in all over 1400 cubic yards of material were removed in just four days. Next up this coming week will be a mid-sized office building in Jenkintown, Pa. that still has plenty of old office furniture that will be donated to a training facility down south. The building contains office cubicals, office furniture, filing cabinets, conference room tables, chairs and all the other material that normally is in office buildings. We expect to load about seven 53′ trailers worth of office furniture material for donation not including a bunch of smaller trucks full of junk, trash and debris. Cleaning out buildings of all shapes and […]

House cleanouts of all shapes and sizes are one of our specialties. We seem to perform better when houses have more stuff left behind. There are several reasons for house cleanouts; downsizing, estate cleanouts, relocation, renovation, flood damage, restoration or some home owners just simply want to reduce their clutter. We have completed house clean outs in just about every town in our serving area including the serving area of CleanOutJunk. We judge the number of trucks and junk removal crews we send to each job by the amount of volume of material to be removed. We remove everything right where it sits. This includes cleaning out cabinets, closets, attics, basements, back yards, porches, furniture, clothing, clutter, boxes, pianos, garages, furniture and just about anything else. We bag up all the lose items and load the trucks. Most of the items we donate. The other items we send off to […]

PhillyJunk Contracts With Major Retail Chain For Renovation Cleanouts

By |2012-11-10T07:31:23-07:00November 10th, 2012|PhillyJunk news|

PhillyJunk recently inked several new commercial contracts for junk removal services. Beginning last week PhillyJunk will pickup renovation debris from over forty (40) Philadelphia area retail store outlets while the national chain completes store renovations in this area. It’s not unusual for retail stores to complete makeovers of their space and display racks every few years and that is exactly what is happening with this chain. Work crews remove all the old racks, display cases, in-store graphics and begin installing the new during the stores normal closing times. PhillyJunk crews will come in and remove all the old retail displays, racks, signage, etc. that needs to be removed and sweep up so there is a seamless transition from one day to the next for each store. PhillyJunk and CleanOutJunk (its sister company) have completed this process in several other cities already. PhillyJunk’s commercial services group completes all […]

Plenty of wood and metal tool sheds were blown down or hit by fallen trees and tree limbs from the storm Sandy. Our junk removal crews have been busy picking up storm debris left by fallen trees, tree limbs and the wind. Cleanup efforts from hurricane Sandy continue every day. We have taken down wood sheds in every county (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia) we operate in Pa. Along with damaged sheds we have removed outdoor patio furniture, hot tubs, trampolines and all sorts of other outdoor items. The calls for help keeping coming in and so far we are able to continue to provide same day or next day service.

Basements & Garage Cleanouts Norristown, Pa.

By |2012-11-03T06:44:34-07:00November 3rd, 2012|PhillyJunk news|

Back to normal this week at PhillyJunk with at least one of our truck crews who spent several days in the Norristown, Conshohocken and King Of Prussia area completing basement cleanouts, garage cleanouts, wood shed removals and house cleanouts. None of the cleanouts were related to tropical storm Sandy which is a good thing. The most common truck roll for us is basement cleanouts. Seems many folks use the basement as their long term storage unit. By the time our junk removal crews arrive items have been left sitting in the same spot for many years. It’s likely if you have not touched a box or bag in well over a year you would not miss it if was gone. If you’re looking for a professional company to cleanout your basement, garage or house in the Norristown, Conshohocken, and King of Prussia, Pa. area give PhillyJunk a call. We will […]

Havertown Basement Cleanouts

By |2012-11-02T05:27:49-07:00November 2nd, 2012|PhillyJunk news|

Our basement cleanout crews had a little fun in Havertown, Pa. cleaning out a basement which had a large collection of old (and very wet) Christmas decorations. The crew found a bag of stocking caps and to help put a smile the homeowners face the crew of four wore bright red stocking caps for the whole basement cleanout. It’s tough when we see familes lose items that meant a lot to them over the years but we can also help bring a little cheer to them during the removal process. If your looking to cleanout your basement, garage or even a whole house cleanout in Havertown, West Chester, Norristown, Newtown Square, Dowingtown or any of the surrounding areas give PhillyJunk a call. We are junk removal or junk hauling specialists.
